  • Maintain legal and ethical standards in their personal and professional conduct.

  • Engage in continuing education to further their knowledge of pregnancy, birth and postpartum and the support they may offer during these childbearing periods.

  • Ensure that their clients assume personal responsibility for the decisions they make during pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period.

  • Keep all client information in the strictest confidence and never divulge confidential information received in a professional capacity.

  • Keep a record of every birth she has supported.

  • Treat all other health and medical professionals in an ethical, professional and respectful manner at all times.

  • Provides clear information to clients regarding the costs and time of payment for the Service.
