Qualified doulas may join the register by undergoing three steps.

STEP 1 : Online form

Doulas fill in an online form, giving details of their training and their details to be listed on the register. Only qualified doulas who can give contact details of their training may register.

STEP 2 : Declaration

Doulas must complete a declaration to follow the Doula Service Rules, and to declare that they are a qualified doula.

STEP 3 : Pay the yearly registration fee

Doulas pay a yearly fee. This covers the costs of their details being maintained on the register. Doulas can also have a link, included with their details, to their own website if they have one.
